Sing Happy was founded in 2022 by Kimberly Moss, a passionate vocal coach and performing arts teacher with a lifelong love of singing and a deep belief in its power to bring people together.
With a career spanning over 16 years, Kim’s journey began with a BSc (Hons) in Speech and Language Sciences from the University of Ulster, where she gained an in-depth understanding of vocal anatomy and physiology. Her fascination with the voice led her to further study with Estill Voice Training, completing Levels 1 and 2 and many additional courses in musical theatre and contemporary commercial singing techniques. Kim also holds ATCL and DipLCM qualifications in Musical Theatre Performance, and completed a one-year Musical Theatre Diploma course at City Lit in London. She has taught in a range of prestigious performing arts schools across the UK, including East 15 Acting School in London, Italia Conti Associates in Guildford, and The ICMT in Belfast.
Kim's additional experience includes facilitating baby and preschool classes (Monkey Music and Jigsaw Arts, London), teaching singing and musical theatre in many stage schools (including Jigsaw Performing Arts and Theatre Train, London, Spotlites Theatre Company, Kent and Centre Stage School of Dance and Performing Arts, Dorset) and delivering performing arts after school clubs (Rising Stars Young Performers Academy, Hertfordshire) Kim also has experience of working with children with additional needs in a classroom setting and has completed Levels 1-4 in Makaton signing.
While living in Dorset, Kim’s career took a meaningful new direction when she became Musical Director for Sound of Soul, a popular performing choir in Bournemouth. It was there she truly experienced the joy and well-being benefits of group singing — not just for her choir members, but also for herself. Inspired by this, she was invited to found the Health and Happiness Choir at Coda Music Trust in Hampshire, a well-being choir designed especially for singers aged 50+.
After returning home to Northern Ireland, Kim brought all of this experience and heart to a new venture: Sing Happy.
